We asked 100 participants of Cortex DISC workshops given for the purpose of improving their communication at work the following question:
As you think back on the DISC experience you had with us, what do you think was your biggest takeaway?

Here are just a few of the comments, from those hundred participants that the Monti research word cloud was derived from: “Seeing what my co-workers primary DISC are helped me to understand why we’ve had previous communication barriers.” “Being more aware of my coworkers communication styles and working on using that awareness to have better exchanges.” “Understanding we are all different and have unique strengths and weaknesses. Nobody can go it alone.” “I found it amazing to see how other people may react differently to a situation. I also thought it was interesting to see that people may stress or become anxious over a situation that looks fully acceptable to me.” “I think the biggest takeaway from the DISC training was to be enrolled in the “putting myself in other’s shoes” movement as well as getting to know ourselves better. That is crucial for effective communication and success in our careers. There is really a lot to learn from how others think and work as well as getting to know ourselves better.” |
